Children & Young Adults
The library is located very near the elementary school and close by the high school. Classes regularly visit the library as part of their curriculum. Many working parents also rely on the library as “safe harbor” for their children after school and on weekends. In addition to the improved spaces within the existing library structure – for example, better and more energy-efficient lighting – the new addition will create much needed space for children’s programs, young adult study areas and enlarged collections for research and pleasure reading. Children and youth both need and deserve the benefits offered by this updated community library.
